Our team offers the fertility tests and treatments you need to overcome infertility
Sometimes, women and men need a little extra help to start or grow their family. When this happens, the team at Tulsa Fertility Center is here to help. Shauna McKinney MD and Stanley Prough MD offer a wide variety of fertility tests and treatments to uncover and treat the complex causes of infertility. Once you have a customized treatment plan in place, the entire team at our Tulsa fertility clinic will help you on your path to parenthood.
Fertility tests and treatments can help you overcome reproductive roadblocks
Our team knows that each patient is unique. This is partly because there are so many different infertility causes. However, it’s not the only reason. Each hopeful parent who visits our Tulsa fertility clinic has different family-building goals and budget requirements. As a result, we will ask questions and order fertility testing to identify the best plan to help you have a baby.
Female patients will typically undergo a physical exam, a transvaginal ultrasound and fertility bloodwork. Depending on your needs, your doctor may also order a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) to assess your uterine cavity and fallopian tubes. As for male patients, our team often starts by ordering a semen analysis.
After reviewing your test results and medical history, your doctor will work with you to determine the best treatment plan for you.
- In some cases, basic fertility treatments are best. These include ovulation induction with medications and intrauterine insemination (IUI).
- Some patients need more advanced options, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), and donor eggs or sperm.
- Occasionally, our Tulsa fertility clinic team may recommend minimally invasive fertility surgery to treat issues like endometriosis and uterine fibroids.
In addition to these fertility tests and treatments, we also offer fertility preservation in the form of egg, sperm and embryo freezing. This is an option for patients who are preparing to undergo cancer treatment as well as patients who simply want to preserve their fertility.
Our fellowship trained doctors can help you overcome infertility
You’ll find that our fertility doctors have completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. This means that they have the knowledge and expertise to provide the fertility tests and treatments that you need to start or grow your family.
